Biography
This Londoner with Turkish roots was co-founder and regular DJ of Trash in The End. In the early 2000s, Alkan released several remixes under the name Kurtis Rush, including Can't Get You Out Of My Head by Kylie Minogue and Blue Monday by New Order. He also released several tracks under Mustapha 3000. But his best-known remixes were for Mylo, Bloc Party, Daft Punk, The Chemical Brothers and Digitalism. In 2006, because of his remixes for the Scissor Sisters, Justice and Franz Ferdinand, he was named DJ of the Year by British music magazine Mixmag. In 2012, Alkan compiled and mixed the I Love Techno album for the Lektroluv record label. And so 2 Many DJs are also among its loyal friends.
